Dutch house prices in the third quarter fell 5.8% from the previous three months. The Union of Estate Agents (NVM) attributed the decline to rising mortgage rates. Average Dutch interest rates on a 20-year mortgage without state-backed guarantees have risen to 4.3% from about 1.4% late last year.

The state government will acquire over 2,868 bighas of land across Mohal-Jarlu, Chhatru, Kummi, DPF Dyoda, Syanh, Tawan and Dhaban in Balh tehsil for the project. This airport would serve the larger interest of the state, besides serving as a base for the Indian Air Force as the area is close to Leh. large aircrafts will be able to land at the proposed airport.

Capital markets regulator Sebi cancelled the licence of Brickwork Ratings India and directed the credit rating agency to wind down its operations within six months for allegedly violating various rules. Sebi highlighted several violations by Brickwork, including that it failed to follow a proper rating process and exercise due diligence while providing ratings.

Taking serious note of major RERA scam by 65 developers in Kalyan-Dombivli, the Thane police commissioner has formed a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the scam. It is learnt that Thane police commissioner was unhappy over investigation by Manpada as well as Ramnagar police who did not even begin probe in the case after first FIR was registered against 27 developers.

Star India has renewed its lease for nearly 450,000 sq ft office space spread across 16 floors of the commercial tower Urmi Estate that houses its India headquarters in Mumbai’s Lower Parel business district for a long-term tenure of nine years. The company has also leased the ground floor lobby and terrace on the 8th floor of the adjacent Urmi Iconic Building.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) searched six premises, including of Rajen Dhruv of Orbit Ventures, in a money laundering case connected to the DHFL loan fraud case. It is alleged that DHFL’s erstwhile promoters Kapil Wadhawan and his brother Dheeraj Wadhawan aka Baba Dewan diverted part of the fraud money to Orbit Ventures in the form of loans which turned into non-performing assets.

The proposal is being placed to the board seeking approval and authorisations for issuance of non-convertible redeemable debentures up to an amount of Rs 4,000 crore, on private placement basis.
