YEIDA issues notices to ATS Group & Supertech to deposit Rs 332.6 crore in two weeks

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued notices to ATS Group and Supertech to deposit Rs 332.6 crore in two weeks so that farmers can be paid additional compensation. Apart from ATS and Supertech, YEIDA has issued notices to 13 other allottees under the institutional category to clear Rs 2,377.2 crore in dues.

Macrotech aims to repay Yes Bank loan five months ahead of schedule

Lodha Developers, now known as Macrotech Developers, has proposed to repay ₹125 crore high-cost borrowing from Yes Bank five months ahead of schedule. The real estate developer raised ₹625 crore secured bonds from Yes Bank in February 2018 at 12.5% payable every quarter for five years.

Nagpur: Set up EV charging station on premises, get 2% property tax rebate

Municipal commissioner Radhakrishnan B announced a 2% rebate in property tax to housing societies and individuals for setting up electric vehicle charging stations. According to the order, individuals will get a 2% rebate in property tax if they set up charging stations for their own vehicles and make the facility available to owners of other electric vehicles.

Indore civic body to collect over 1.5 times property tax from defaulters

INDORE: People failing to pay their property tax of their residential properties on time will now have to pay a heavy penalty from the next fiscal year. They wil have to pay more than 1.5 times their property tax in case of delay of a year or more, Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) officials said.

Maharashtra government to soon list Mhada layouts for cluster redevelopment

The state government will soon announce the list of Mhada layouts that will be taken up for cluster redevelopment, said deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. Devendra Fadnavis announced that Mhada will be appointed as nodal agency for the redevelopment of Kamathipura and a cabinet decision will be taken soon.

Chandigarh: Rs 8.9 crore for 500 sq yard plot in Sector 19

A 500 sq yard residential plot located in Sector 19 fetched Rs 8.90 crore against a reserve price of Rs 6.34 crore in the UT estate office property auction. The estate office had offered 12 residential plots on freehold basis. The rest of the sites will be re-auctioned, said a UT official.

Sebi lays guidelines on preferential issue, institutional placement for listed REIT, InvIT

Capital markets regulator Sebi came out with guidelines pertaining to preferential issues and institutional placement of units by emerging investment vehicles -- REIT and InvIT. ​The regulator has specified the manner of issuance of units under preferential issue as well as institutional placement by listed real estate investment trust (REIT) and infrastructure investment trust (InvIT), according to two separate circulars.

K Raheja Corp acquires 1.5-acre land in Mumbai's Sion for Rs 120 crore

Realty developer K Raheja Corp has acquired an over 1.5-acre land parcel in central Mumbai’s Sion locality from a public charitable trust K J Somaiya Trust for over Rs 120 crore. An additional 0.4-acre land parcel adjoining this plot will also be acquired by the developer through a separate transaction later.

Larsen & Toubro subsidiary inks pact to transfer 15 acres of land to Brookfield

Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro’s subsidiary L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) has entered into a pact with Brookfield Group to transfer around 15 acres of land parcel in the Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy City (HITEC City) to the global institutional investor. The land parcel will be transferred through a nearly 50-year lease for a total deal value of around Rs 1,020 crore.
