Japan’s Gojo-backed Aviom, with Rs 990 crore in loan assets, is in talks with a global pension fund and a domestic private equity fund for fresh capital infusion.

Hindi film producer Renu Ravi Chopra has bought a premium residential apartment in the Pali Hill area of Mumbai’s Bandra suburb for nearly Rs 48 crore. The deal values the apartment on a carpet-area basis at Rs 1.51 lakh per sq ft, pushing it in the tally of the country’s most expensive transactions for a residential apartment.

The under-construction houses under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Wadgaon Khurd areas will be handed over to the beneficiaries by March 2023. Nearly 80% of the project work is complete. The remaining works will be completed soon, and the houses will be allocated to the beneficiaries in around six months.

Shree Cement recorded a dip of 67 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the second quarter of the financial year 2022-23. Its profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 183.24 crore in Q2 FY23 as against Rs 563.94 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is planning to revive the Indirapuram extension scheme, which was put on the back burner due to farmers’ protests over enhanced land compensation. GDA may now develop a mini-township with group housing societies on just 12 acres of land which it managed to acquire.
