Mohali civic body collects Rs 22.1 crore property tax during Apr-Sept 2022

The municipal corporation (MC) has collected Rs 22.1 crore property tax from April 1 till September 30, crossing its target of Rs 22 crore set in its budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year. “It is a record achievement. From April 1 to September 30, 2021, the collection was only Rs 14.25 crore,” said MC commissioner Navjot Kaur.

Goisu Realty leases two plots in Mumbai's BKC for Rs 2,067 crore

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will earn Rs 2,067 crore with a Japanese firm Goisu Realty Pvt Ltd bagging the tender for leasing two land parcels at Bandra-Kurla Complex for the next 80 years. The bid for the two commercial plots, measuring 5,807.50 sq m and 6,077.60 sq m, was finalized at a little more than the reserved price stipulated by the development authority.

MIDC allots 400 industrial plots in new Ajang-Ravalgaon industrial estate

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has allotted 400 of the total 600 industrial plots measuring between 500 sq metre and over 5 acre at the newly developed Ajang-Ravalgaon industrial estate in Malegaon tehsil. These 400 units will construct their manufacturing plants in the next two to three years, which will fetch over Rs 1,500 crore of investment and generate employment for over 4,000 people.
