COIMBATORE city corporation has started receiving applications for collecting property taxes from the newly-constructed buildings after a gap of nearly six months. The process was put on hold in April. The civic body had revised the property tax at the beginning of the current financial year based on the state government’s instructions.

Axis Bank has increased the marginal cost of funds based lending rates (MCLR) by 25 basis points across tenors with immediate effect. The country's third largest private sector lender in a communication on its website stated that the benchmark one-year MCLR is up by 25 basis points to 8.35 per cent with effect from October 18, 2022.

In June this year, UP-RERA cancelled the registrations of the three projects - Raksha Vigyaan Sanskriti Phase-2, Antriksh Sanskriti Phase-2 & 3 located adjacent to NH-9 in Pratap Vihar, for the delay in delivery.

Asian Paints has registered 32 per cent growth in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended September 2022. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 803.83 crore in Q2 FY23 as against Rs 605.17 crore it recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. company's total consolidated income stood at Rs 8,553.04 crore in Q2 FY23.

Realty firm Prestige Estates Projects Ltd's sales bookings rose 66 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,511 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal on higher demand despite a rise in home loan interest rates. During the April-September period of this fiscal, Prestige Group's sales bookings more than doubled to Rs 6,523.1 crore from Rs 2,845.9 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
