Buyers knock Lokayukta's doors against incorrect orders passed by Karnataka RERA

Aurum PropTech's revenue up 93.3% to Rs 28.3 crore in July-September 2022

Aurum PropTech Ltd, formerly known as Majesco Ltd, has reported consolidated revenue from operations worth Rs 28.3 crore for the quarter ended September. up 179% over the last year’s total revenue and growth of 93.3% over the previous quarter. Total income for the quarter also rose 96.2% sequentially to Rs 30.84 crore.

Six farmhouses built on Aravali land in Gwalpahari razed

The Haryana forest department carried out a demolition drive in the Gwalpahari area. A total of six farmhouses were demolished using JCBs. The Supreme Court order had directed Haryana to restore the Aravali forest and to demolish structures that fall under special orders of Section 4 of the Punjab Land Protection Act (PLPA). No non-forest activity is permitted in the area.

Dubai's Union Properties agrees to $162 million debt restructuring plan

Dubai-listed real estate developer Union Properties had completed a 595 million dirhams ($162.01 million) debt restructuring with lenders as part of a broader corporate turnaround strategy announced earlier this year. The restructuring plan includes the repayment of 223 million dirhams to lenders and is expected to reduce financing costs and improve the company's cash flow generation.

Uday Kotak looking to raise about $1 billion for a new residential real estate fund

Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd., backed by Asia’s richest banker Uday Kotak, is looking to raise about $1 billion for a new fund dedicated to investing in India’s residential real estate. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority could chip about $500 million into the property fund, while Allianz SE could invest about $220 million.

Redevelopment of Dharavi: Pact inked for railway land in Dadar

The Dharavi Redevelopment Authority (DRA) and the Indian Railway signed a "definitive agreement" for handing over 47.5 acres of railway land in Dadar for the Dharavi redevelopment project. ACC posts Rs 87.32 crore net loss in Q2 FY23

ACC, the building materials arm of Adani Group, has reported net consolidated loss after tax of Rs 87.32 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2022-23. It had posted a profit after tax of Rs 450.21 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The company's net consolidated income stood at Rs 4,057.08 crore in Q2 FY23.

Sunteck Realty's pre-sales up 24% at Rs 337 crore in July-September 2022

Realty developer Sunteck Realty has reported 24% year-on-year growth in its pre-sales at Rs 337 crore for the quarter ended September taking its total pre-sales performance in the first half of the financial year to Rs 670 crore, up 49%. During the quarter, the company acquired a land parcel spread over 7.25 acres in Mira Road’s Beverly Park locality through a joint development agreement.

Buildings with defunct rainwater harvesting systems to invite fines

The Nashik Municipal Corporation has decided to slap hefty fines on the residential and commercial buildings across the city if their rainwater harvesting systems are found to be non-functional. As per the norms, rainwater harvesting systems are mandatory for residential and commercial buildings constructed on and above 500 sqm plots.
